Yorkton Equity Group Holds Annual General and Special Meeting

Yorkton Equity Group Inc., a growth-oriented real estate investment company, held its Annual General and Special Meeting on September 15, 2026, in Edmonton, Alberta. The meeting, which concluded the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, saw a total of 83,497,499 common shares voted, representing 74.14% of the issued and outstanding shares as of the record date.

At the meeting, shareholders approved several key resolutions. The number of directors was fixed at five, with Ben Lui, Bill Smith, Mark Wilbert, Josephine Pon, and Tony Pagnucco elected as directors for the ensuing year. Additionally, Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, was appointed as the Company’s auditors for the upcoming year. The shareholders also re-approved the Company’s omnibus security-based compensation plan, which includes a 10% rolling stock option plan with cashless and net exercise provisions, alongside a 10% fixed equity compensation plan (excluding stock options), as detailed in the Information Circular dated July 28, 2026.

Following the meeting, shareholders were provided with a presentation on multi-family real estate market conditions in Western Canada, along with a corporate financial update and an overview of the Company’s business strategy. The presentation concluded with a question and answer session with management.

Tony Pagnucco, a senior executive with extensive experience in financial management, corporate governance, and strategic planning, was elected as a new director. Pagnucco currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Canadian Operations of Bri-Chem Corp., a Toronto Stock Exchange-listed company. He is responsible for financial management and Canadian operations while supporting key global and strategic initiatives. Pagnucco is a Chartered Professional Accountant with experience in financial reporting, internal controls, capital management, and operational management.

Jason Theiss, who had been a director, did not stand for re-election and ceased to be a director upon the close of the meeting. Yorkton Equity Group Inc. thanked Theiss for his contributions and wished him well in his future endeavors.
