SINGAPORE, Oct. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Toku, a Singapore-headquartered AI-powered customer experience (CX) platform, has successfully deployed its Toku Contact Centre for Glovo, the Barcelona-headquartered multicategory on-demand app, across 21 markets in Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. The deployment, which kicked off on August 15, 2026, and went live on October 2, 2026, marks a significant milestone in Toku's rapid deployment capabilities and underscores its ability to serve complex, fragmented markets.

The deployment covered Glovo's customer service operation across 21 markets in Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, with 70 call flows. Each market was effectively a separate deployment with its own unique requirements, including its own operators, numbering, and routing. The deployment was executed in four waves over four days, with a rehearsed rollback path that was never needed, demonstrating Toku's robust delivery team and its ability to manage large-scale migrations efficiently.

Toku's experience in serving complex, multi-market environments, such as those found in Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East, provided a solid foundation for this deployment. The Glovo team, working closely with Toku's IT and operations teams, executed the massive migration in just seven weeks without any disruptions to services. This swift deployment allowed Glovo to continue providing reliable support to its users while expanding its customer service capabilities.

Glovo, a leading technological platform connecting customers, businesses, brands, and riders, currently operates in 21 countries across Europe, Central Asia, and Africa. The Glovo deployment is part of a new order separate from the sales operations agreement announced in February 2026, under which Glovo's sales teams went live on Toku in four markets in June 2026.

Toku's modular 360° CX Platform, which orchestrates customer interactions across voice, chat, email, and digital channels, while managing regulatory, linguistic, and infrastructure complexity at scale, played a crucial role in this deployment. The platform's end-to-end ownership of its technology stack, from carrier-grade connectivity to AI applications, including transcription, summarization, sentiment analysis, conversation analytics, and governed virtual agents, designed to integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems and customer data, further contributed to the successful deployment.

Founded in 2015 in Barcelona, Glovo currently operates in 21 countries across Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, offering multicategory on-demand services from local restaurants, grocers, supermarkets, and high-street retail stores. The Glovo deployment is part of a broader strategy to expand Glovo's customer service capabilities and support its continued growth in these markets.

This deployment is covered by a new order separate from the sales operations agreement announced in February 2026, under which Glovo's sales teams went live on Toku in four markets in June 2026. The Glovo deployment is a testament to Toku's ability to deliver enterprise-grade solutions in complex, multi-market environments, and it further cements Toku's position as a leading player in the customer experience technology space.
