Tajiri Resources Corp, a junior gold exploration and development company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has announced significant progress in its exploration efforts at the Yono Gold Property in Guyana. The company has completed a 3D IP Survey over the entire property on 100 metre line spacings, with preliminary results showing highly encouraging chargeability responses. To further refine these results, Tajiri has extended the survey by approximately two weeks to include additional 50 metre in-fill lines. The objective is to resolve potential ore shoots associated with strong gold in soil and the best of the company's previously released trench results.
The preliminary results from the trenches YTR-3, 3R, 16, 17, and 18, which are located in the northernmost trench cluster, have returned potentially economic results. Specifically, these trenches yielded the following results: - 32 metres @ 1.1g/t - 12 metres @ 2.4g/t - 4 metres @ 1.8g/t - 4 metres @ 5.5g/t - 0.3 metres @ 6.3g/t
Additionally, the trench YTR4, located approximately 400 metres to the south, returned the following results: - 19 metres @ 4.6g/t, including: - 2 metres @ 2.3g/t - 3 metres @ 1.2g/t - 2 metres @ 41.3g/t
These results are subject to further analysis and full results will be released following the completion of the extended survey, 3D inversion of the data, and final interpretation.
In related news, Tajiri Resources Corp has extended the expiry date of 5,506,072 common share purchase warrants by twelve months to September 19th, 2027. These warrants were issued as part of a non-brokered private placement completed by the company in September 2025. The extension was made to provide certainty to warrant holders who may have received certificates with an incorrect expiry date due to an administrative error. All other terms associated with the warrants remain unchanged.
Graham Keevil, President and CEO of Tajiri Resources Corp, stated, "We are pleased with the encouraging results from our ongoing exploration efforts at the Yono Gold Property. The extension of the survey and the additional in-fill lines will help us to better understand the potential ore shoots and refine our exploration strategy."
Tajiri Resources Corp continues to generate shareholder value through exploration in two of the world's least explored and highly prolific greenstone belts of Guyana, South America.
