BERLIN, Sept. 3, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- At the International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA) 2026, SwitchBot unveiled the SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro Combo, a comprehensive smart-entry solution designed to enhance home security and convenience for European households. This innovative system integrates three key components: the SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max, SwitchBot Keypad Vision Pro, and SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled.
Designed to maintain existing lock cylinders, the SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max offers faster performance and multiple unlock methods. With a high-precision magnetic encoder and an UltraDrive brushless motor capable of reaching 160 rpm, the lock can complete unlocking in as little as 1.1 seconds. Users can choose between Max Mode for speed and Quiet Mode for discretion, ensuring smooth operation even with frequent use.
The SwitchBot Keypad Vision Pro further enhances the system's functionality by providing 19 unlock methods, including facial recognition, palm vein recognition, fingerprint scanning, passcodes, and NFC card access. This flexibility caters to a wide range of users, from children and older adults to those who prefer traditional entry methods.
To ensure reliability, the combo features a three-layer power system. The main battery in the Lock Ultra Max can last up to 9 months, while the independent CR123A backup battery supports approximately 500 operations. Additionally, Micro-Power Unlock gathers enough energy to provide up to 5 emergency unlocks, even when the main battery is depleted.
Security and privacy are paramount. The system uses AES-128 encryption for secure communication and stores biometric data locally. Users can monitor lock status, battery levels, and event history through the SwitchBot App, which also sends notifications for critical conditions such as low battery or a door left open.
SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max is compatible with 99% of European lock profiles, making it adaptable for most homes. The Keypad Vision Pro can be installed outside with adhesive or screws, allowing for non-invasive upgrades. The SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled included in the combo facilitates remote control and integration with popular smart-home platforms.
