SULODAK, a professional manufacturer of industrial UV LED curing systems, has launched a new compact liquid-cooled UV LED curing lamp, model SU-602035A, designed for high-power, stable UV curing in various industrial applications such as inkjet printing, screen printing, adhesive and coating curing.
The new lamp features a unique integrated packaging design, incorporating 60 LED chips arranged in a 15 by 4 by 1 configuration. This setup delivers a high irradiation intensity of 8-10 W/cm over a luminous area of 61.5 by 19.5 mm. The recommended working irradiation distance is set between 7-10 mm to ensure consistent curing effects.
With a power consumption of 168W, the lamp operates efficiently and is suitable for continuous long-hour operations. The black housing measures 90 by 43 by 24.5 mm (49.5 mm), making it small and lightweight, ideal for easy installation and retrofitting onto existing production machines. The lamp head weighs approximately 350g, further enhancing its portability.
To ensure the longevity and reliability of the lamp, Sulodak has incorporated over-temperature protection, which activates at 75 plus-minus 3 degrees Celsius. This feature safeguards the lamp from damage due to overheating. The lamp supports a wavelength range from 360nm to 420nm, with customizable wavelengths available to match specific UV ink, resin, and coating requirements.
Compared to traditional mercury lamps, the new UV LED curing lamp offers several advantages. It features instant on/off capabilities, low heat generation, energy savings, and a longer service life. These benefits help manufacturers reduce energy costs and minimize maintenance downtime.
