Renault Group reported resilient third-quarter revenue and reaffirmed its 2026 financial guidance, highlighting the company's adaptability and strong operating fundamentals.

For the first nine months of 2026, Renault Group's overall revenue reached €41.8 billion, marking a 7.1% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Adjusted for exchange rates, this figure rose by 7.6%. The automotive segment contributed €36.6 billion, a 6.6% increase over the previous year, with a 7.2% rise when adjusted for exchange rates. Mobilize Financial Services (MFS) revenue stood at €5.2 billion, up 11.0% from 2025, with a 11.1% increase when adjusted for exchange rates.

In the third quarter alone, the group's revenue was €11.6 billion, a 1.5% increase over the same period in 2025, or 1.4% when adjusted for exchange rates. Automotive revenue was €9.8 billion, unchanged from the previous year but a 0.2% decrease when adjusted for exchange rates. MFS revenue was €1.8 billion, a 11.0% increase over 2025, or 11.3% when adjusted for exchange rates.

Despite the overall positive financial performance, Renault Group's vehicle sales showed a slight decline. The company sold 1.662 million vehicles over the first nine months of 2026, a 2.2% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Renault brand sales increased by 1.1%, driven by the renewed and increasingly electrified product line-up, which helped the brand climb to the second position in the European market. Dacia sales, however, declined by 9.7% due to a transition in its product and powertrain cycle, in line with the strong acceleration of customer demand for electric vehicles (EVs). Alpine saw a significant growth of 65.6%, with the A290 model driving this success.

In the third quarter, Renault Group's sales fell by 6.0% compared to the same period in 2025. Renault brand sales declined by 2.9%, with a 4.6% growth in Europe. Dacia sales were down 12.8%, further penalized by a high comparison base in the previous year's third quarter. Alpine maintained a strong growth momentum, with sales up 58.4%.

Renault Group emphasized its commitment to electrification, with EV sales rising by 84.7% in the third quarter year-on-year. This increase brought the Group's EV mix to 25.8% of passenger car sales, while including hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), the electrified sales represented 54.9% of the Group's passenger car sales.

The company also reported a focus on maintaining strict value discipline. Retail sales in Europe increased by 5.0%, and the retail mix rose by 4.6 points to 64.8%, while the company reduced exposure to less value-accretive channels such as short-term rentals and demo sales, which decreased by 18.0%.

Total inventories remained healthy at 532,000 vehicles as of September 30, 2026, and the European orderbook represented approximately two months of forward sales.

The company is poised to continue its product offensive in the second half of 2026, with the launch of new models such as the New Megane E-Tech electric, Trafic Van E-Tech electric, and Duster E-Tech hybrid for Renault, and the Sandero Hybrid, New Spring, and Striker for Dacia.
