BERLIN, Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- qBraid, an agentic cloud orchestration platform for quantum computing, has unveiled qBraid OS, a software solution designed to streamline the operation of quantum computing services. The new platform aims to simplify the management and deployment of quantum processors, making them accessible to a broader range of users.
qBraid OS is based on the infrastructure the company has developed and operated for its own agentic platform, which currently serves thousands of quantum developers and provides access to systems from 18 quantum hardware providers. This new software is designed to integrate seamlessly with NVIDIA accelerated computing, leveraging the NVIDIA CUDA-Q platform to enable quantum error-correction decoding and classical processing during each quantum job.
The software manages access, scheduling, and billing for quantum processors, allowing them to run alongside NVIDIA GPUs and CPUs. It can be deployed on premises or in the cloud, offering flexibility to companies building or operating quantum computers. qBraid OS supports the connection of quantum processors through an existing processor interface or directly to a system's control electronics. It also integrates with NVIDIA NVQLink, allowing for the combined scheduling of quantum processors and NVIDIA accelerated computing.
Key features of qBraid OS include user management, reservations, usage metering, and billing. The platform is designed to be operated with AI agents, within permissions set by the system's operator, and supports developers through the qBraid SDK, qBraid's AI agents, and NVIDIA CUDA-Q. Developers can use the same code they write for other qBraid hardware, ensuring a consistent experience.
The software also includes defined integration points for compilers, optimizers, error-mitigation tools, and resource-estimation services, reducing the need for each tool to integrate separately. This feature streamlines the development process and enhances the efficiency of quantum computing operations.
qBraid OS is now available to early-access partners, including Diraq, Quobly, IBM, MemQ, and Quantum Machines. Quantum computing companies can learn more about the platform at qbraid.com/qbraid-os.
qBraid, based in Chicago, has been used by more than 35,000 developers in over 120 countries. The new operating system is a significant step in making quantum computing more accessible and user-friendly, paving the way for broader adoption in various industries.
