New digital platform addresses AI-generated misinformation

TEL AVIV, Israel, SecondSideMedia has unveiled a new digital platform aimed at addressing inaccuracies and misleading information produced by artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The platform allows individuals and organizations to publish clarifications, corrections, and verified public responses that traditional media may overlook or be unable to cover.

The launch comes after successful pilots of the company’s "Published Records," which are designed to be machine-readable. These records help correct misinformation appearing in AI-generated outputs. SecondSideMedia monitors at least four AI systems before and after publication to assess changes, verify sourcing, and ensure that corrections appear prominently in search results.

Unlike traditional public relations and crisis management firms that seek broad coverage through multiple third-party publications, SecondSideMedia takes a more focused approach. The company manages its own publishing platform, allowing it to concentrate on whether a single structured record can address specific information gaps.

"We need a credible place to publish corrections or missing context when AI gets the story wrong," said Aaron Lazor, founder of SecondSideMedia. "Traditional media might not publish that response, but the information still needs to be publicly recorded."

SecondSideMedia operates as a neutral publishing registry, providing a place for affected parties to establish a verified public record. The platform covers six categories of published records and tracks 13 recurring AI narrative issues that impact the generation and presentation of information.

Each published record undergoes a defined submission and verification process. SecondSideMedia does not remove unfavorable content, promise changes to AI-generated results, or replace legal or public relations advice. Instead, it offers a dedicated space on the open web to provide context that might otherwise be missing.

Organizations and individuals can learn more about the platform, review the verification methodology, and begin a submission at SecondSideMedia.com.
