GREENVILLE, S.C., Oct. 27, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Jennifer Sharp, a seasoned financial advisor with over two decades of experience, has joined Signature Wealth Group as a Senior Wealth Advisor in the firm's Greenville, South Carolina office. Sharp's career began in 2007 when she worked alongside her father, Karl Messmer, a financial advisor with more than 30 years of experience. After a decade in commercial real estate in Chicago and Charlotte, Sharp returned to her hometown in upstate New York to join Messmer's practice. In 2013, she purchased the practice and rebranded it as Sharp Financial Services, relocating the business to Greenville in 2019.
Sharp's move to Signature Wealth Group provides her existing clients with access to the broader planning infrastructure of the Signature Wealth Strategies, including an in-house Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a dedicated concierge support team, in addition to the research and resources available through Raymond James. This move allows Sharp to continue managing her clients' portfolios and plans directly while benefiting from Signature Wealth's enhanced resources.
A graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, Sharp holds Life, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance licenses, along with FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations. She has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA™) credential, and the Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™) designation. Sharp serves clients across the country, including many families in New York, where she began her career, alongside a growing roster in the Greenville market. Her focus is on deepening relationships through comprehensive, long-term planning, with a particular emphasis on serving women and widows.
Jennifer Sharp's appointment to Signature Wealth Group underscores the company's commitment to providing its advisors with the tools and resources to serve their clients more effectively. The move gives clients access to a wider range of services and support, while allowing Sharp to continue managing her clients' portfolios and plans directly. Signature Wealth Group, which manages more than $2.8 billion in assets and operates 16 branches across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Kentucky, is now bolstered by Sharp's expertise and experience.
