Rooted Cannabis Opens in Eldersburg with Grand Celebration

ELDERSBURG, Md., Oct. 27, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Rooted, a collaboration between veteran-founded Rooted Cannabis and ReLeaf Shop, is set to celebrate its grand opening on Friday, October 30, at 1337 Liberty Road in Eldersburg, Maryland. The event will kick off with opening remarks at 12:50 p.m. and a ribbon cutting at 1 p.m.

The store, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, will offer free parking and a range of amenities for customers. Active-duty and retired military members will receive a 25% discount on non-sale products every day. Customers can order ahead at releaf-shop.com, and rewards points will work at both stores. Only adults 21 and older will be allowed to enter the sales floor.

To celebrate the grand opening, Rooted will host a barbecue from George's BBQ (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Bearded Ray's (4 to 7 p.m.). A photo booth will be available from 1 to 4 p.m., and a DJ will provide entertainment from 4 to 7 p.m.

The store will operate under the same menu and rewards program as the ReLeaf Shop in Baltimore, ensuring a familiar experience for both new and existing customers. Dr. Andrew Whelton, Connor's father and a professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, works with the ReLeaf team. As an Army doctor in Vietnam, he commanded the Army's first combat renal dialysis center.
