BERLIN, Sept. 3, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- At the International Fair for Audio and Video Technology (IFA) in 2026, Hypershell, the global leader in consumer exoskeletons, revealed its flagship product, Halo. This all-terrain exoskeleton is designed to offer unprecedented mobility and support, combining advanced technologies to redefine human movement.

"We've fundamentally reimagined the exoskeleton from the ground up," stated Kelvin Sun, CEO of Hypershell. "Halo isn't just about adding knee power; it's a full-body system that works as one, delivering seamless assistance in any terrain."

Halo's Core Technologies Halo features the industry's first Hypershell Unified Architecture, a continuous carbon-fiber structure that spans the hip, thigh, knee, and lower leg. This design ensures that all four powered joints operate in harmony, providing propulsion, weight-bearing support, descent control, and landing cushioning. The key to this seamless operation lies in the innovative Fish-Spine Adaptive Joint, which allows the structure to mimic the natural movement of the hip.

The AeroFlex V Thigh Strap, another feature of the Unified Architecture, redefines comfort. It replaces rigid rear-thigh panels with a design that adapts to the body's contours, redistributing pressure and enhancing stability during various movements and terrains.

HyperIntuition™ 2.0, Hypershell's advanced motion-control algorithm, powers Halo's intelligence. Built on an industry-first Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architecture, it interprets changes in movement, terrain, and load in real time. This allows for precise, personalized assistance across all four powered joints. Over 30 high-precision sensors and a HyperCore Pro AI chip process data, enabling Halo to anticipate user intent and adjust assistance up to 2,500 times per second.

The HyperDrive Pro four-motor system delivers up to 1,490 W of peak output. Each knee power unit weighs just 170 grams, thanks to a redesigned electromagnetic system and reduction architecture. This system works in conjunction with the unified architecture to provide active knee protection, reducing muscle fatigue by up to 40% during squats and assisting with climbs and impacts.

Power and Portability Halo's lightweight design, weighing only 2.6 kilograms, makes it suitable for all-day wear. Its aerospace-grade carbon fiber and titanium construction ensure durability and low weight, ideal for demanding terrains. The compact and lightweight Hypershell PocketVolt Battery, weighing just 370 grams, delivers up to 20 kilometers of range.

Halo's portability is further enhanced by its folding mechanism, which reduces its volume to less than 8 liters, making it easily transportable in a backpack. It is compatible with packs up to 85 liters, including high-capacity mountaineering packs, ensuring users can carry their essential gear without compromising on mobility.

Innovative Features Shelly, the industry's first AI sidekick for consumer exoskeletons, complements Halo. Users can interact with Shelly through voice or text to set up the device, personalize assistance, and plan journeys. Shelly also learns from the user's movements and preferences, adapting its support over time for a more intuitive experience.

Market Launch and Availability The first 200 units of Halo are being released as the Origin Edition, featuring an exclusive wordmark, a unique production number, and additional benefits. Pre-orders for the Origin Edition began at 2,299 USD, 2,299 EUR, or 2,199 GBP. Initial availability will cover the United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, and China. Official sales and phased deliveries will commence in November, with further market launch details to be announced closer to availability.

Hypershell's Vision for the Future Founded in 2021, Hypershell aims to empower human exploration and redefine what is possible. With SGS-certified and TÜV Rheinland-verified performance, the company has sold tens of thousands of units across 70+ countries. Halo represents a significant step toward Hypershell's vision of a world where wearable robotics become as essential as backpacks for exploration, work, and play.

As Hypershell continues to innovate, users can expect enhanced capabilities and a more personalized experience with each new model. The future of mobility is here, with Halo leading the charge.
