SHENZHEN, China, Hollyland, a leading provider of wireless products for professional film and video production, has unveiled the Pyro 7 Ultra, an all-in-one 7-inch wireless monitor designed to simplify camera-top monitoring, wireless focus pulling, and mobile director monitoring in film production.
The Pyro 7 Ultra integrates broadcast-grade QD-LCD technology with a ΔE <1.5 color accuracy, ensuring reliable visual references for every department on set. It supports 4K60 video streaming and features HollyOS, Hollyland's next-generation operating system, which offers direct display controls, customizable monitoring layouts, and a range of professional image analysis tools. The monitor also supports multiple camera control functions, including shutter, aperture, ISO, and white balance, via HDMI and SDI interfaces.
Key to the Pyro 7 Ultra's functionality is Hollyland's proprietary Twin-WiFi (TWiFi) technology, which allows the device to utilize two wireless bands for a resilient dual-path connection. Automatic frequency hopping ensures stable connections even in congested RF environments, with up to 1,000 meters of wireless transmission range and a latency of just 20 milliseconds in Focus Mode. This makes the Pyro 7 Ultra suitable for productions requiring multiple monitoring positions, with support for 4K60 video transmission via one transmitter to an unlimited number of receivers.
Jay Sun, Product Manager at Hollyland, emphasized the importance of accurate monitors in professional production. "Every department needs a reliable visual reference on set, and even minor color differences can affect post-production. With Pyro 7 Ultra's QD-LCD technology, crews can trust what they see during production."
The Pyro 7 Ultra is pre-calibrated to achieve a ΔE <1.5, ensuring consistent color reproduction out of the box. Users can quickly recalibrate the display using Hollyland's Color Calibrator solution, which doesn't require a PC or third-party calibration hardware. This monitor is also part of Hollyland's broader Pyro ecosystem, allowing seamless integration with compatible transmitters, receivers, and monitors.
Priced at $1,399 USD, the Pyro 7 Ultra is now available through authorized Hollyland distributors, Amazon, and the Hollyland online store. Hollyland has served millions of users worldwide since 2013, operating a global sales network spanning approximately 160 countries and regions.
