Large employer plans are now available in 29 Texas counties, including Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, and Brazoria. These plans are designed to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for employers and their employees. Individual and family plans will be available on HealthCare.gov for 2027, with enrollment opening on November 1 in 13 of the 29 counties. Coverage will become effective on January 1, 2027.

This expansion is expected to serve more than 22 million Texans in the 29 counties where large employer plans are available.
