Vancouver, BC, Canada, September 2, 2026, Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE:GCC) (OTC:GCCFF) (WKN:A402CQ) (FSE:3TZ) has announced the latest results from its drilling program at the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property in British Columbia. The latest assays from drill hole QGQ26-30 reveal a total intercept of 268.24 meters (880.05 feet) of gold at 0.58 grams per tonne (g/t), including 57.36 meters (187.9 feet) of 1.08 g/t gold and 30.62 meters (100.4 feet) of 1.16 g/t gold. These results are part of the final drill assays for the company’s inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate, marking a significant milestone in the project's advancement.

The drilling results from QGQ26-30, which targeted the western margin of the company's Halo zone, demonstrate the presence of gold mineralization within tuffaceous volcanic rocks. The gold is associated with zones of strong sericite-carbonate alteration, often found within and adjacent to extensional quartz-carbonate veins. The mineralized system is characterized by pyrite, with localized zones of semi-massive to massive sulphides. Visible gold was identified in various intervals, ranging in size from fine to coarse irregular flecks, typically less than 1 millimeter but occasionally reaching up to 3 millimeters.

Jean Pautler, a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) and independent consultant for Golden Cariboo, reviewed and approved the technical information in this news release. Pautler, who is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of BC, emphasized that while the intervals reported have insufficient data to reliably estimate true width, the results provide a strong foundation for the upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate.

The Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property is located approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) northeast of Hixon, British Columbia, and is bordered by Osisko Development. The property, which is part of the larger Cariboo Gold Project, spans 94,899 hectares (234,501 acres) and includes the Quesnelle Quartz gold-silver deposit, discovered in 1865. The geological setting of the property is similar to the Spanish Mountain gold deposit, located 120 kilometers (75 miles) southeast, which is considered an epizonal orogenic subclass of gold deposits, including some of the world's largest deposits.

These new findings are part of an ongoing exploration program aimed at further delineating the potential of the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property. The Mineral Resource Estimate, currently being finalized, will provide a comprehensive assessment of the project's potential and guide future exploration activities.

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. continues to advance its exploration plans, with the expectation that the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property holds significant mineralization potential. The company remains committed to developing this historic mining area and expanding its presence in the Cariboo region.
