WOBURN, Mass., Oct. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- First Steps Developmental Services has launched a new infant developmental assessment program called the Every Milestone Project in Woburn, Massachusetts. The program, also known as Early Insights, is designed for babies aged 2 to 12 months and offers a private, no-referral, no-insurance authorization service for families.

The Every Milestone Project aims to address early signs that may indicate developmental delays, such as missed milestones, limited eye contact, or feeding difficulties.

The program covers four key areas: developmental screenings, comprehensive assessments, parent coaching and support, and high-risk infant follow-up. Families can book a consultation call to discuss their child's needs and determine if the program is a good fit. The assessment takes place at the Woburn center and may include structured observation, standardized developmental tools, and a parent interview. After the visit, families receive a written summary of findings and individual recommendations, which may include strategies for home use, referrals to other services, or a plan for follow-up monitoring.

For families who may benefit from applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, First Steps Developmental Services offers center-based, home-based, and after-school ABA services. As of January 1, 2026, Massachusetts requires insurers to cover ABA therapy for children with Down syndrome. First Steps Developmental Services currently has no waitlist for ABA therapy and families can also book a free 30-minute parent support call.

The program serves families from Woburn, Burlington, Winchester, Lexington, Wilmington, Arlington, Andover, and communities across Middlesex and Essex counties. First Steps Developmental Services is a BCBA-owned ABA therapy practice in Woburn, Massachusetts, providing play-based 1:1 ABA therapy for children under age 6 with autism and Down syndrome through center-based, home-based, hybrid, and after-school programs. The practice is a member of the Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) and a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Approved Continuing Education Provider. It serves families across Greater Boston and accepts most major insurance plans.
