Falcon Energy Materials appoints Yann Vincent as non-executive director

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Falcon Energy Materials plc (TSX-V: FLCN, OTCQB: FLCNF) has announced the appointment of Yann Vincent as a non-executive director. With over four decades of leadership experience in the European automotive and green energy sectors, Vincent brings significant expertise to the company’s board.

Vincent, a distinguished French executive, has held key roles at Groupe Renault and Alstom Transport, including serving as the Global Quality Director and Director of Renault in Russia. He later joined Groupe PSA (now Stellantis) as Executive Vice President of Industrial and Logistics, overseeing global manufacturing for major brands such as Peugeot and Citroën. His most recent role was as the founding CEO of Automotive Cells Company (ACC), a high-tech battery joint venture backed by Stellantis, TotalEnergies/Saft, and Mercedes-Benz, where he led the establishment of ACC's European battery gigafactories.

Having spent my career optimizing industrial performance and scaling battery manufacturing ecosystems, I view Falcon's anode material strategy as a vital solution for the global EV supply chain. Falcon Energy Materials aims to be the premier provider of natural Coated Spheronized Purified Graphite (CSPG), a critical component for energy storage solutions. The company is developing a state-of-the-art 25 ktpa CSPG production facility in Morocco, strategically partnered with leading Chinese technology firms and Tier One Moroccan partners. This partnership is expected to provide Falcon with advanced technological expertise, access to high-quality raw materials and chemicals, and a prime geographical location to deliver consistent, high-quality supply to global markets.
