REHOVOT, Israel, Sept. 1, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- CollPlant Biotechnologies Ltd., a company specializing in 3D bioprinting of tissues and organs, has announced plans to implement a one-for-ten reverse share split of its ordinary shares. The split, approved by the Board of Directors and following shareholder approval at an Extraordinary General Meeting on August 18, 2026, is scheduled to take effect on September 4, 2026, when trading resumes on the Nasdaq Capital Market.

Under the reverse share split, each ten outstanding ordinary shares will be consolidated into one, with fractional shares being rounded to the nearest whole share. The new CUSIP number for the ordinary shares will be M2R51X124. For registered shareholders holding shares in book-entry or through a bank, broker, or other nominee form, no action is required. Shareholders with physical share certificates will receive instructions from the Company’s transfer agent, Computershare Inc., for the exchange of certificates.

The reverse share split is part of CollPlant’s strategic efforts to regain compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum bid price requirement for continued listing. The Company’s share price has faced challenges, and this measure aims to stabilize and potentially increase the share price, thereby avoiding delisting.

CollPlant, based in Israel, focuses on regenerative and aesthetic medicine, with its primary product being recombinant human collagen (rhCollagen) produced using proprietary plant-based genetic engineering technology. The company has recently announced an agreement to acquire LightSolver Ltd., an Israeli deep-tech company developing a new computing architecture based on lasers, indicating a broadening of its technological capabilities.

The reverse share split is expected to have minimal impact on the overall value of the shares held by existing shareholders, as the total number of shares outstanding will be reduced. However, it will affect the share price and the trading volume per share.

The reverse share split reflects CollPlant's ongoing efforts to stabilize and enhance its financial and operational standing, while maintaining its focus on innovative medical solutions.
