JERICHO, N.Y., October 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Intelligent Protection Management Corp. has agreed to acquire Advanced Technology Distributors' business, a move that will significantly expand the managed services capabilities of the company and position it for continued growth.
The acquisition, valued at up to $2.7 million, is structured in two stages. At the initial closing, Intelligent Protection Management Corp. (IPM) will acquire 49% of the membership interests of AdTech IT LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Technology Distributors Inc. The final closing will see IPM acquire the remaining 51% of the company. The transaction is contingent upon the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) approving a Tier 2 Advice Letter and a change-of-control filing related to AdTech's competitive local exchange carrier license (CLEC License).
IPM, a managed technology solutions provider with a focus on enterprise cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure, has been operating for over 20 years.
Advanced Technology Distributors Inc., founded in 1982, has served small and medium-sized businesses throughout central and northern California for over 40 years. The company provides information technology, telecommunications, connectivity, and managed services.
The acquisition is expected to enhance customer engagement and drive opportunity growth by cross-selling each company's highly complementary IT services and solutions across a larger combined base of customers. IPM's deep expertise in cybersecurity, private cloud, managed IT, hosting, and other technology-related consulting services will complement AdTech's existing strengths and expand the support and services offered to customers.
The transaction is subject to the CPUC's approval of the Tier 2 Advice Letter and the change-of-control filing.
The deal is expected to strengthen IPM's managed services platform by expanding its customer reach, increasing recurring revenue opportunities, and creating additional pathways to deliver complementary solutions across a broader client base.
