Alternative IQ, a leading organization in Canada’s hedge fund industry, today announced the Top Contenders for the 19th Annual Canadian Hedge Fund Awards, the highest honor in Canada’s hedge fund industry. The Gala CHFAwards Dinner, which will feature the announcement of winners and the presentation of trophies, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, October 20th at the One King West Hotel in Toronto.
The Canadian Hedge Fund Awards program, which has been held annually since 2008, aims to recognize the best-performing hedge funds in Canada by evaluating their quantitative performance data as of June 30th. This year, Alternative IQ considered a record-breaking 321 Canadian Hedge Funds for the 2026 Canadian Hedge Fund Awards, setting a new record for the number of nominees.
The awards ceremony will feature a networking Cocktail Reception starting at 5:00 PM, followed by a formal dinner at 6:30 PM. The Gala CHFAwards Dinner will be held in the Grand Banking Hall at the One King West Hotel, where winners will be announced and trophies will be presented to the winners.
