PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- ZeroEyes, the leading provider of multi-analytics weapons detection and threat intelligence technology, has announced the deployment of its AI gun detection and intelligent situational awareness platform at the Executive Education Academy Charter School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This move is part of the school’s comprehensive security strategy to protect its 1,735 students and approximately 300 staff members.
Located on the east side of Allentown, the Executive Education Academy Charter School serves a diverse student body and employs a dedicated team to support their educational journey. The 500,000-square-foot campus includes a field house with four gyms and a new football stadium currently under construction. As part of its ongoing commitment to campus safety, the school has chosen ZeroEyes to enhance its existing security infrastructure, which already includes access control systems, security cameras, and perimeter protection technologies.
Bob Lysek, CEO and founder of Executive Education Academy Charter School, emphasized the importance of safety in the school’s mission. "Safety is our number one priority," Lysek stated.
ZeroEyes’ AI gun detection and intelligent situational awareness software layers onto the school’s existing digital security cameras. If a gun is identified, images are instantly shared with the ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC), the industry's only U.S.-based, fully in-house operation center. Staffed 24/7/365 by specially trained U.S. military and law enforcement veterans, the ZOC can quickly determine the validity of the threat and dispatch alerts and actionable intelligence to law enforcement and school security teams.
Mike Lahiff, co-founder and CEO of ZeroEyes, highlighted the school’s commitment to proactive campus safety.
The ZeroEyes platform is designed to enhance preparedness, accelerate threat identification, and enable effective response. It provides real-time detection and actionable information for visibly brandished weapons, such as guns and knives. The company has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as an effective anti-terrorism solution and was the first AI-based gun detection platform to achieve full SAFETY Act Designation.
Founded in 2018 by Navy SEALs and elite technologists, ZeroEyes has expanded its platform to address the full spectrum of modern security challenges, from defending to detecting and responding to threats. The company’s platform is deployed in thousands of locations across SLED, federal and defense, and commercial enterprise customers in the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America (LATAM), and India.
