Zendure unveils Agentic HEMS at IFA 2026

News provided byZendure · 3 min read

At the IFA 2026 exhibition in Berlin, Zendure, a global leader in home energy management systems (HEMS), unveiled its latest innovation: Agentic HEMS. This new system represents a significant leap from traditional AI scheduling, offering a fully autonomous and predictive approach to home energy management.

### From AI Scheduling to Autonomous Home Energy Management

Traditional home energy management systems (HEMS) have relied on AI scheduling to address immediate energy needs, such as when to charge or discharge devices. However, this approach falls short in providing long-term, autonomous management of energy, particularly as home energy systems become increasingly complex with the integration of solar generation, batteries, electric vehicles (EVs), and dynamic electricity tariffs.

Agentic HEMS, introduced by Zendure, addresses these challenges by transforming the home energy system into an intelligent agent capable of sensing its environment, predicting future needs, making informed decisions, and acting autonomously. The system operates on three key layers: ZenPulse, a proprietary forecasting model that predicts photovoltaic (PV) generation, energy prices, loads, and weather; ZENKI™ AI Agents, which translate these forecasts into actionable decisions; and Zen+OS, an open platform that integrates these decisions across the entire home.

### An Open Ecosystem for Continuous Innovation

At the heart of Agentic HEMS is Zen+OS, an open platform built on APIs and an open ecosystem. This design allows for seamless integration with various smart home platforms, including MQTT, Home Assistant, and Homey. Zen+OS supports more than 90% of common household loads, connects with over 870 European energy providers serving over 150 million users, and is compatible with 5,000+ heat pump models, major rooftop solar inverters, and leading EV chargers.

Additionally, Zendure offers ZenWave™, its own dynamic electricity tariff, enabling the system to automatically purchase power when prices are lowest. This flexibility and openness aim to create a dynamic and evolving ecosystem that can adapt to future technological advancements and changing user needs.

### On Display at IFA 2026

At the IFA 2026 exhibition, visitors can experience Agentic HEMS in action. Zendure will showcase the ZEN + Home living facade, which includes three key products:

- SolarFlow Mix series: A modular home storage solution that combines plug-in simplicity with home-storage-level capacity and power. - PowerHub: The central gateway that coordinates multiple SolarFlow Mix units, rooftop PV, EV chargers, and heat pumps into a unified whole-home system with UPS-level backup. - SolarFlow 2400 series: A compact, plug-and-play storage solution designed for balconies and retrofits, offering fast and low-barrier installation.

Integrated with PowerHub, the SolarFlow Mix series demonstrates the practical application of Agentic HEMS. Visitors can also explore Zendure's Eco-Mobility experience, featuring the Zendure Cargo bike "RangeFlow" and the EVFlow AC Series smart wallbox. Both devices are integrated with HEMS 2.0, allowing families to power their e-bikes and EVs with energy generated at home. This integration completes Zendure’s clean energy loop of generation, storage, and usage.

### Zendure’s Vision for the Future

Driven by the mission to accelerate a sustainable future, Zendure aims to redefine home energy management. Agentic HEMS is designed to not only respond to immediate energy needs but also to predict, decide, and act autonomously. By leveraging real-time data on consumption, solar generation, weather, and dynamic pricing, the system optimizes energy efficiency, shifts load to lower-cost periods, and significantly reduces electricity costs.

As visitors walk through Hall 2.2 at Stand 124 from September 4 to 8, they will have the opportunity to see Agentic HEMS in action and experience how it can transform their homes into intelligent energy hubs of the AI era.
