CALIFORNIA, CA, UNITED STATES, October 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- SHANGHAI, China, October 2026, Xuanze Industrial Drive Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., known for its XZBELT brand, has published detailed technical documentation for its conveyor belt range. The documents include a CE Technical Inspection Attestation of Conformity and an ISO 9001:2015 quality management certificate, both issued by JingXin Certification (Beijing) Co., Ltd. The ISO certificate, valid from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2028, covers the sale of industrial transmission and conveyor rubber and plastic belts, refractory fibre rope, and high-temperature resistant fibre braided casing.

The XZBELT conveyor belt range is built from a defined set of polymer and textile options, including PU, TPU, PVC, PVK, PA, nylon, polyester, Nomex, felt, and silicone. Customised combinations are available, with food-grade options listed as PU, TPU, PVC, silicone, and felt. The top cover material can be specified as PU, TPU, PVC, silicone, or felt, while the bottom cover material can be fabric, PU, PVC, or felt. The fabric ply can be polyester, nylon, or polyamide.

The company's conveyor belt range features a construction envelope with a thickness of 0.8 to 8 mm, customised ply count from 1 to 3 plies, and a temperature range of -20°C to +220°C for selected types, depending on the material. Surface patterns include smooth, matt, diamond, golf, crescent, and rough top. Fabrication options include cleats, sidewalls, V-guides, and perforation.

The company's own buyer guidance states that service life depends on carcass, cover material, tension, pulley size, wear, joint quality, tracking, and the operating environment. A thicker belt does not automatically last longer. For example, a 0.8 mm belt and an 8 mm belt can both fall within the same product family while serving different drives.

Belt constructions in the portfolio differ significantly in the force they carry at a given elongation. For instance, a flat belt can handle 5 N/mm at 1% elongation, while a felt conveyor belt can handle 15 ± 3 N/mm (tensile strength 110 ± 30 N/mm) and a seamless belt can handle 30 N/mm (tensile strength 350 N/mm at 3% elongation). A coil wrapper belt, RUX80-GW, can handle up to 175 N/mm at 2% elongation for selected polyester types, with an ultimate tensile strength of 400 N/mm.

In practice, the 1% figure describes the belt's elastic response inside its normal working band. A construction rated at 80 N/mm at 1% elongation resists stretching roughly sixteen times more stiffly at that strain point than one rated at 5 N/mm. For a conveyor that indexes products into a fixed position, or a coil wrapper that must grip and accelerate a steel strip without slip, stiffness in the working band is crucial for the drive to transmit torque effectively.

Elongation values published across the range are not directly interchangeable because they are measured on different constructions and under different definitions. The seamless construction is the clearest structural case, with a single-layer, seamless-woven belt of 9 ± 0.5 mm total thickness, comprising a 6 mm base band and a 3 mm surface coating made from silicone, Nomex fibre, and polyester filament fibre. Because there is no splice, there is no joint to open under cyclic loading, a recurring failure point in heavy service.

Where a joint is required, the range supports hot melt joints, finger joints, Z-splice, stepped Z-splice, overlap joints, tooth joints, steel buckles, and mechanical fasteners. The coil wrapper belt, RUX80-GW, is specified with a peel strength of 8 N/mm for the RUX80-GW construction, and truly endless, seamless, no-splice variants are offered. Splicing is also identified in the company's published troubleshooting material as a process-dependent failure mode: unsquared belt ends, incorrect preparation, wrong press parameters, excessive tension, minimum pulley violations, misalignment, and chemical contamination are cited as recurring causes of repeated splice failure.

For a maintenance engineer, the practical implication is that joint specification should be treated as a design input rather than a workshop decision made at installation. The joint type must match the carcass construction, and the press parameters must match the compound.

Surface design is critical for conveying performance. The felt conveyor belt is specified with a coefficient of friction of 0.19 ± 0.06, air permeability of 12 ± 5 l/dm²·min, and compatibility with vacuum suction systems, with surface and volume resistance below 1×10⁹ Ω for antistatic performance. It is intended for applications such as CNC cutting, textile and garment processing, leather processing, automotive and tyre manufacturing, and nonwoven processing, where material must be held flat and released cleanly. The minimum turning diameter is 30 mm, with a reverse turning diameter of 60 mm. The standard width is 3,000 mm, with a maximum width of 3,100 mm, and roll lengths of 100 m or 200 m.

At the other end, the coil wrapper belt RUX80-GW is specified at a coefficient of friction of 0.8 against steel plate, a high-grip surface intended to drive metal strip without slip.
