MEXICO CITY, Oct. 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- ESENTIA Energy Development, S.A.B. de C.V., a leading company in Mexico's energy sector, reported strong financial performance in the third quarter of 2026. The company's adjusted EBITDA reached US$86.0 million, marking a 1.3% increase from the same period in 2025. For the first nine months of the year, adjusted EBITDA grew to US$262.5 million, up 3.5% from the corresponding period in 2025.

The company's financial health has improved, as evidenced by a decline in the Net Debt to LTM Adjusted EBITDA ratio to 3.9x as of September 30, 2026, from 4.1x at year-end 2025. This reduction reflects the company's growth in adjusted EBITDA and a decrease in gross debt.

ESENTIA is advancing its expansion strategy, with a significant step being the agreement to acquire EOM, the owner of the Guadalajara, Manzanillo gas pipeline. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions, and the company expects to finance the deal entirely with its own funds. The transaction is anticipated to be completed during the first half of 2027.

In the third quarter, ESENTIA reported adjusted revenues of US$111.7 million. Net income for the quarter was US$24.5 million, down 13.1% from the same quarter in 2025, primarily due to a higher tax burden. For the first nine months of the year, net income increased by 18.9% to US$65.9 million, while natural gas sales volumes grew by 15%, and the contribution margin increased by 14%.

As ESENTIA looks ahead to 2027, the company's priorities include continuing to deliver results, completing Phase I of its expansion plan, which involves achieving mechanical completion of the Aguascalientes Compression Station in the first quarter of 2027. Phase II of the expansion is expected to enter service in the second quarter of 2028, with 56% of its capacity already covered by firm contracts.

ESENTIA Energy Development, S.A.B. de C.V., operates Mexico's largest privately owned interconnected natural gas system, delivering reliable, low-cost natural gas from Waha, Texas, through central Mexico to the country's main industrial regions. The company maintains a strong commitment to sustainability and safety, and continues to develop infrastructure projects that support long-term growth.
