On September 4, 2026, the AI-powered defense robotics and software company XTEND will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol XTND. The company’s debut comes after a business combination with JFB Construction Holdings, and will see the renaming of the combined entity to XTEND AI Robotics.
In a statement, XTEND CEO Aviv Shapira stated that the NYSE listing marks the next stage in the company’s growth. "This is an important milestone for XTEND as we continue to innovate in the rapidly evolving field of AI robotics," Shapira said.
The NYSE pre-market update also highlighted the release of the August jobs report, which came out ahead of the market opening. Economists had expected the U.S. to gain 56,000 jobs last month, with the unemployment rate projected to remain at 4.1%. However, the actual numbers are still being analyzed by investors.
The day’s trading will kick off with opening bell events, including the celebration of the Rare Ventures initiative by Annaly Capital (NYSE: NLY) and EB Research Partnership. The closing bell will also spotlight the efforts of Stop Soldier Suicide, which focuses on addressing the issue of suicide among U.S. veterans and service members.
