Wendy's is rolling out its annual Halloween festivities, offering fans a mix of sweet treats and spooky fun this season. The fast-food giant is bringing back two fan-favorite initiatives: Boo! Books and Frosty Frights, ensuring there’s plenty to celebrate during the spooky season.
Starting September 14, Wendy’s Frosty Frights are making a return for the third year, introducing 12 new collectible toy characters to its Kids' Meal lineup. These new additions include Numb Chuck, Sir Choc-O-Lot, E.A.T., Cold Foot, Shiver Wing, and Taranchilla. Each character comes with a sticker sheet and a mini trading card, and a full-color themed meal bag adds to the Halloween atmosphere. Additionally, Wendy's Rewards members have the chance to snag the (un)lucky 13th Frosty Frights toy, with details to be announced soon.
Boo! Books, Wendy's annual fundraiser, is also back. Available now, each $1 coupon book offers five free Jr. Frosty coupons, one $1.99 Kids' Meal with purchase coupon, and a portion of each purchase benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. According to the foundation, 90 cents from every $1 coupon book supports its mission to find safe, permanent homes for children in foster care. Fans can purchase these books at participating U.S. Wendy's restaurants, through the Wendy's app, at kiosks via the "Give Something Back" option, and in bulk online through the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.
Wendy's Canada will also be offering Boo! Books and six Frosty Frights collectibles at participating restaurants nationwide starting September 28. This ensures that Canadian fans have the same opportunity to participate in the Halloween fun.
Wendy’s commitment to giving back and supporting the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is evident in both initiatives. The foundation aims to increase the number of adoptions of children waiting in foster care, and every purchase from the Boo! Books fundraiser contributes to this goal.
Wendy's, with more than 7,000 restaurants worldwide, continues to engage with its customers through these seasonal promotions, providing a mix of entertainment and community support. Fans are encouraged to participate in these events, which are only available for a limited time, to ensure they don’t miss out on the Halloween festivities.
