OTTAWA, Ontario, Sept. 04, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Viridian Metals Inc. (CSE: VRDN, OTCQB: VIRMF) has successfully closed a non-brokered private placement and secured a market-making agreement, strengthening its financial position and enhancing market liquidity, according to a recent press release.
On September 4, 2026, the company issued 2,323,259 units, each comprising one common share and one-half of a warrant, raising gross proceeds of $1,045,466.55. The units were sold at a price of $0.45 per unit, and the exercise price for each warrant is set at $0.60 per share, with a 24-month term from the date of issuance. This financing comes as Viridian Metals continues to advance its projects, particularly at its Kraken site, where drilling activities are ongoing.
Tyrell Sutherland, President and CEO of Viridian Metals, stated, "Our focus remains on advancing our projects on the ground, and this financing will provide the necessary resources as we enter a period of increased activity. We are committed to enhancing Viridian's visibility and communicating the results of our work effectively."
The private placement also included the payment of $31,903.20 in finder's fees and the issuance of 70,895 finder's warrants to certain finders. Additionally, certain insiders of the company participated in the placement, subscribing for 371,133 units, representing approximately 15.97% of the total offering.
In a related move, Viridian Metals has entered into an agreement with Independent Trading Group (ITG) to provide market-making services. Under the agreement, ITG will receive CAD$7,500 per month for maintaining a reasonable market and improving the liquidity of Viridian Metals' common shares. The agreement is for an initial term of one month and can be renewed or terminated with 30 days' notice. ITG and Viridian Metals are unrelated entities, and neither party has an interest in the other's securities at the time of the agreement.
Independent Trading Group, based in Toronto, specializes in market making, liquidity provision, and bespoke algorithmic trading solutions. The company has a long-standing history of delivering high-quality execution services to a wide range of public issuers and institutional investors.
