Vaisala Launches Viewlinc Cloud Suite for Life Science Monitoring

Vaisala, a global leader in measurement instruments and intelligence, has introduced a new cloud-based environmental monitoring solution called Viewlinc Cloud Suite. This offering is designed to support life science innovation from the laboratory stage to regulated operations, ensuring professional-quality monitoring from the outset and adapting to evolving needs. The launch is complemented by Vaisala Care for Viewlinc, a lifecycle services offering available in selected markets.

Viewlinc Cloud Suite includes two editions: Viewlinc CS Professional Edition and Viewlinc CS GxP Edition. The GxP Edition adds capabilities for GxP compliance, including continuous validation and GxP documentation, while the Professional Edition supports applications that require reliable monitoring without the same compliance and validation requirements. The GxP Edition is particularly relevant for regulated life science environments, such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and medical device manufacturing.

The cloud-based service eliminates the need for a local application server and reduces associated IT workload, providing real-time visibility into critical conditions. This allows organizations to focus on their operations rather than maintaining monitoring infrastructure. Viewlinc Cloud Suite is scalable from small installations to multi-site deployments and offers secure access from desktop and mobile devices.

Vaisala Care for Viewlinc, a lifecycle services offering, will support customers throughout the operational life of the monitoring system. The offering includes two tiers: Vaisala Care, a structured package of essential lifecycle services, and Vaisala Care+, a premium offering with more tailored lifecycle support. Services include expert support, remote training, planned system health checks, and extended warranty coverage. Vaisala Care for Viewlinc will be initially available in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by the end of 2026.
