Trinity Airways Receives First Boeing 737-8 Aircraft

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has delivered the first Boeing 737-8 aircraft to Trinity Airways, marking a significant step in the airline’s rebranding and expansion. The aircraft, featuring the airline’s new Trinity Gray and Rose Gold livery, will serve as a cornerstone in Trinity’s continued growth, connecting South Korea more sustainably to the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Trinity Airways, formerly known as T'way Air, is a South Korean Selective Service Carrier (SSC) that provides tailored air travel experiences. The airline is set to officially operate under the Trinity Airways brand from September 10, 2026. With its new identity, Trinity Airways aims to uphold the brand mission of being "Relaxed and Reliable," as evidenced by the aircraft’s livery and its upcoming operations.

Carter A. White, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of ACG, expressed pride in the delivery, stating, "We are proud to deliver the first Boeing 737-8 in the new Trinity Airways' identity and to support the airline's continued international expansion as it enters this next stage of development."

Chris Kong, Senior Vice President and Procurement Director of Trinity Airways, echoed the sentiment, noting, "This aircraft represents more than the addition of another aircraft to our fleet. It is the first aircraft to carry the new Trinity Airways identity into service, marking the first step in our journey with our new brand mission, 'Relaxed and Reliable.' This delivery is part of a larger agreement between ACG and Trinity Airways, with ACG committed to delivering a total of seven Boeing 737-8 aircraft by the end of 2026. The first of these seven aircraft has now been handed over, with the remaining six scheduled for delivery from ACG’s orderbook.

Aviation Capital Group, founded in 1989 and a wholly owned subsidiary of Tokyo Century Corporation, is a global full-service aircraft asset manager with approximately 500 owned, managed, and committed aircraft as of June 30, 2026. It specializes in commercial aircraft leasing and provides various asset management services and financing solutions for third parties.

Trinity Airways operates from its hubs at Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, serving destinations across Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America.
