Treso Raises $3.75 Million to Streamline Healthcare Provider Finances

Treso, a company building an intelligent financial operating system for healthcare providers, has secured $3.75 million in funding. This investment will support the development of a comprehensive platform designed to streamline the financial operations of physician practices.

The platform, which Treso is developing in collaboration with physician practices, aims to integrate accounting, receivables, expense management, procurement, and business intelligence with banking and financial products. By bringing these functions together, Treso hopes to help healthcare providers reduce costs, increase revenue, and improve cash flow.

The platform will be free to providers, with the Treso card giving practices real-time control over spending. This card will issue virtual cards to specific vendors with set limits, and AI will automatically match receipts. Treso's financial services will support access to comprehensive business tools without costly software subscriptions, while connected financial and operational data can inform underwriting and help tailor financial offerings to each practice's needs.

Treso's founding team brings a wealth of experience in healthcare technology and fintech. Co-founder and CEO Ryan Greenhaw has spent his entire career working with healthcare providers to improve how they manage the administrative and business sides of their practices through technology. Co-founder and CTO Zvika Badalov has spent more than 15 years building the systems behind how money moves, leading engineering at Cross River Bank and co-founding Vikar Technologies.

Treso's platform is being built in close collaboration with physician practices, with its first design partners spanning a broad range of specialties and including single-physician clinics as well as multi-site groups. The platform will go live with Treso at its initial launch in December.

Redesign Health, Locke Health, and KCRise Fund are backing Treso's mission.

Since inception in 2018, Redesign and its portfolio companies have touched the lives of more than 15 million patients, raised over $1.5 billion from premier institutional, sovereign, and strategic investors, and built distinctive partnerships with marquee healthcare organizations and senior leaders around the world.
