PURCHASE, N.Y., Nov. 04, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Townsquare Media, Inc., a leading digital advertising platform, reported strong third-quarter financial results for the period ending September 30, 2026. The company's net revenue for the quarter increased by 3.9% year-over-year to $110.9 million, exceeding the guidance range. Adjusted EBITDA also saw a 2.7% year-over-year increase to $22.6 million, staying within the guidance range. The net loss narrowed by $1.5 million year-over-year to $4.0 million.
The digital segment continued to drive growth, representing 57% of the year-to-date (YTD) net revenue and 56% of the segment profit. Digital Advertising net revenue surged by 12.7% year-over-year, with programmatic revenue growth contributing 22.5% to this increase. Townsquare Ignite, the company's digital advertising platform, now serves 18 partners and extends its reach to 122 markets across the United States, marking a significant expansion.
Townsquare Interactive, the company’s subscription digital marketing solutions business, saw a decrease in net revenue by 8.5% year-over-year. However, the segment maintained a robust profit margin of 36% in the third quarter, reflecting the company’s focus on cost efficiency and operational excellence.
Broadcast Advertising net revenue declined by 5.2% year-over-year, with political revenue tracking ahead of expectations. The company expects this trend to continue, with political advertising potentially crowding out other inventory in the fourth quarter.
In a strategic move, Townsquare Media, Inc. announced the suspension of its quarterly dividend. The previously declared quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share was paid on November 2, 2026, to stockholders of record as of October 26, 2026. The decision to suspend the dividend is aimed at redirecting capital toward general corporate liquidity and strategic growth opportunities, preserving approximately $14 million of cash annually.
For the fourth quarter of 2026, the company expects net revenue to be between $107 million and $109 million, and Adjusted EBITDA to be between $23 million and $25 million. For the full year 2026, net revenue is projected to be between $430 million and $432 million, and Adjusted EBITDA to be between $87 million and $89 million, both within the original guidance ranges.
These results underscore the company’s continued focus on digital growth and strategic financial management, despite challenges in traditional media.
