TM Technologies Licenses New Communication Tech to Rohde & Schwarz

LITTLE SWITZERLAND, NC, UNITED STATES, October 20, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- TM Technologies, a technology firm founded in 2013, has entered into a licensing agreement with Rohde & Schwarz, a German multinational electronics group, to implement its new communications technology, Cognitive Spectrum Optimization (TM-CSO), into Rohde’s Test and Measurement equipment.

During the 2026 IEEE - MILCOM Conference in Bethesda, Maryland, TM Technologies announced this partnership, which will make the TM-CSO technology available to telecom engineers and developers worldwide.

According to Velasquez, the partnership with Rohde & Schwarz will enable the development of software and hardware systems for customers interested in increased data throughput and "future-proofing" their secure communications. With recent accelerated activity in Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) and especially non-terrestrial-to-terrestrial telecom networks, TM Technologies believes that TM-CSO offers efficiencies and security capabilities that are unprecedented.

Rohde & Schwarz's Business Development Manager, Randy Schnell, commented on the significance of this collaboration.

TM Technologies provides software licenses and integrative engineering to customers in the fields of advanced Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial (TN & NTN) wireless technologies, Near Field Communications, and In-Band-Full-Duplex solutions. With engineering and lab space in San Diego, California, and administrative offices in Little Switzerland, North Carolina, the company is well-positioned to support the global telecom industry.

Rohde & Schwarz, known for excelling in the Test and Measurement equipment business, will now offer TM-CSO waveforms to telecom engineers and developers using their equipment. This move is expected to enhance the security and efficiency of both terrestrial and non-terrestrial communication devices and networks, addressing the needs of a rapidly evolving telecom landscape.
