SPRING, Texas, Nov. 2, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- TETRA Technologies, Inc., a leading energy services and solutions company, reported strong third-quarter 2026 financial results, marking a significant milestone for the firm. For the three and nine months ended September 30, 2026, the company achieved revenues of $168.0 million, the highest third-quarter revenue in a decade, up 10% year over year. International revenue contributed $68.8 million, representing 41% of the company’s consolidated revenue, also the strongest third-quarter performance in a decade.
Brady Murphy, TETRA’s President and CEO, highlighted the robust performance across the company’s portfolio.
The company’s Completion Fluids & Products segment delivered its highest third-quarter revenue in ten years, driven by strength in Eastern Hemisphere completion fluids, long-duration energy storage electrolyte sales, and U.S. industrial chemicals. Industrial Chemicals also posted its highest third-quarter revenue in ten years, with a 32% year-over-year growth. This growth is supported by an expanding U.S. industrial market, including semiconductor manufacturing and demand for electrolytes for energy storage.
Water & Flowback Services experienced a 21% year-over-year revenue growth and a 69% increase in Adjusted EBITDA, with Argentina revenue more than doubling. This growth was the result of the ramp of early production facilities (EPFs) and strong utilization of the company’s patented automated TETRA SandStorm technology in the Vaca Muerta basin.
TETRA Technologies is also making significant progress on its Arkansas bromine plant, which continues to advance on schedule and on budget. The company is now less than 12 months away from the plant being mechanically complete. All major mechanical equipment has been engineered and is either delivered or under confirmed purchase order for future delivery, with total costs below the Board approved final investment decision (FID). The plant is expected to commence production at an annualized rate of 37 million pounds at the beginning of 2028 and ramp to the facility’s 75-million-pound annual capacity by 2030, consistent with the company’s ONE TETRA 2030 strategy.
Looking ahead, TETRA expects a strong fourth quarter and 2027. The outlook for the company’s base business remains robust, with deepwater and international activity looking robust and a return to more completion activity in the Gulf of America. International growth for Production Testing is expected to continue, with the company’s first automated TETRA SandStorm technology deployments to the Middle East supporting exceptional growth in Argentina.
In terms of financial performance, TETRA reported an adjusted net income of $6.8 million, inclusive of $2.0 million of unusual charges, and an adjusted net income per share of $0.05. Adjusted EBITDA stood at $25.1 million, the second-highest third-quarter in the past ten years. The adjusted EBITDA margin was 22.1%, impacted by product mix, lower deepwater activity in the Gulf of America, and higher diesel and associated freight costs.
