ATLANTA, Sept. 11, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The Tennessee Collective, a collaborative effort between 11 Tennessee distilleries, has announced a new American Whiskey that will debut on September 1, 2026. This release, a joint venture with proof-it, a next-generation consumer authenticity and engagement platform, marks a significant step in the state’s whiskey industry.

The 2026 Tennessee Collective American Whiskey is a blend from Big Machine Distillery, Gate 11 Distillery, Jack Daniel's Distillery, Leiper's Fork Distillery, Nelson's Green Brier Distillery, Old Dominick Distillery, Old Glory Distilling Co., Peg Leg Porker Distillery, Short Mountain Distillery, Sugarlands Distilling Co., and Tennessee Legend Distillery. Each bottle will come with proof-it tag technology, allowing consumers to engage directly with the distilleries and understand the unique story behind each bottle.

Charity Toombs, Executive Director of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail, highlighted the importance of proof-it's technology in connecting consumers more deeply with the whiskey.

The whiskey will be available at the participating distillery's tasting rooms and online for pre-order at www.tnwhiskeytrail.com/tn-collective. Each bottle will come with a custom video and the story of its specific contribution to the blend, only accessible via the proof-it tag on the neck. This release is not just a collector's item but a celebration of the craftsmanship and dedication of the Tennessee distilling industry.

To celebrate the launch, proof-it will host the Tennessee Collective Tasting Notes Contest from September 1, 2026, to January 7, 2027. Consumers can participate by tapping their unlocked smartphones to the unique proof-it tag on each bottle and offering their opinions and notes on the whiskey's complexity. The best entry will win tickets to the Grain and Grits Festival 2026.

The Tennessee Whiskey Trail, launched seven years ago by the Tennessee Distillers Guild, now hosts more than 30 stops across the state, offering a taste of Tennessee and a road map for adventure. The Trail aims to celebrate the rich history and camaraderie of the Tennessee whiskey distilling industry, making it a destination for both whiskey enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.

proof-it, a platform that enables consumers to learn the stories behind their favorite brands and manage their collections, is at the heart of this innovative partnership. By combining authenticity, consumer engagement, and tamper-proof technology, proof-it is leading the way into the next generation of consumer engagement and brand building.
