TechForce Robotics Forms TechForce Advanced Manufacturing for Semiconductor Equipment Production

Nightfood Holdings, Inc., doing business as TechForce Robotics, has formed a new subsidiary, TechForce Advanced Manufacturing, Inc., to expand its presence in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry. The company aims to produce 8-inch and 12-inch wafer sorters and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, targeting a market that is projected to grow to $9.7 billion by 2030.
TechForce Advanced Manufacturing will be jointly owned by Nightfood Holdings, Inc. and JUN LONG MACHINE INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD., with Nightfood holding a 51% stake and JUN LONG a 49% stake. Nightfood will provide strategic oversight, commercialization support, and access to capital-raising resources, while JUN LONG will contribute technical expertise and customer relationships.
The partnership is set to begin production and generate initial revenue in the fourth quarter of 2026, corresponding with Nightfood’s fiscal second quarter. The company is currently preparing additional manufacturing capacity, suppliers, engineering support, and customer-integration resources to meet near-term demand. TechForce Advanced Manufacturing has already secured purchase orders from key customers, which are expected to be fulfilled upon completion of the definitive agreement.
The new venture will focus on expanding the production of automated wafer sorters and AOI systems designed for both 8-inch and 12-inch silicon wafers. These systems combine robotic wafer handling, automated inspection and grading, identification-based sorting, front-side optical character recognition (OCR), and optional Semiconductor Equipment Communication Standard (SECS) factory connectivity. The systems are intended to support inspection, identification, transfer, and sorting within semiconductor and Chip-on-Wafer-on-Substrate (CoWoS) related advanced-packaging production.
According to an independent industry report, the global semiconductor wafer inspection equipment market is projected to grow from approximately $7.05 billion in 2026 to approximately $9.67 billion by 2030. This growth is driven by the increasing demand for advanced-packaging applications, particularly in artificial intelligence and advanced computing systems.
