Splice Launches New Music Creation Tool

NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Splice, the music creation platform used by millions of artists and producers around the world, today unveiled 'Splice Create,' a new music studio designed to help people transform ideas into tracks while honing their music production skills. The new DAW, built on Splice's extensive library of over three million human-made, fully licensed sounds and samples, offers creators a novel, agentive, and assistive technology experience to help them find sounds, experiment with new techniques, and explore ideas. Artists can create music on 'Splice Create' and retain ownership of their original creations. The platform can be controlled by voice or text, allowing users to use natural language to group drums, apply effects, and handle repetitive tasks that typically disrupt the creative flow. 'Point Mode' also enables an interactive pointer to walk users through the interface and teach them new production techniques step-by-step.

Splice Create taps into the full breadth of Splice's platform, including an extensive catalogue of royalty-free sounds and samples, the highest quality virtual instruments from Splice INSTRUMENT, native integrations with VSTs, and the option to export audio for use with other DAWs. The new tool conforms to Splice's AI guidelines and principles, providing a music creation studio that helps users make the music they want, rather than making the song for them or assuming users already know how to do everything.

The platform, which is now available in beta as a Mac app at launch, is free to get started. Ready to share a song?
