The two-night celebration kicked off with an intimate VIP dinner hosted by Italian butcher and chef Dario Cecchini, known for his global Carna and Bottega di Carna concepts. Cecchini's exclusive collaboration with SLS Playa Mujeres included elaborate tableside presentations and a Champagne tower to cap off the evening. The resort's 498 lavishly designed rooms, including swim-out options and showstopping suites with expansive terraces and rooftop Jacuzzis, provided a luxurious backdrop for the event.
The music took center stage on Friday night, with Grammy Award-winning duo The Chainsmokers headlining the event. Their set of chart-topping electronic hits filled the air, drawing in resort guests and locals alike. On Saturday, Colombian electro-tropical group Bomba Estéreo closed the weekend with a fusion of Latin rhythms and electronic beats. Between sets, DJ Kyle Cooke of Bravo's In The City spun a DJ set, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Throughout the weekend, guests enjoyed a variety of culinary experiences. At The Smoking House by Union, live-fire brisket and tomahawk were paired with barrel-aged Bacardi cocktails. At Cleo, St-Germain spritzes and shawarma were served, while Filia offered handmade pasta. For a more intimate dining experience, Brasserie Maxine served a five-course dinner of caviar, foie gras, Atlantic lobster, and Japanese Wagyu, paired with wines.
