SINGAPORE, Sept. 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- SingSaver, Singapore's leading personal finance comparison platform, has expanded its services by launching a Home Loans segment in partnership with Redbrick Mortgage Advisory. This move positions SingSaver in the largest category of household debt in Singapore, which is valued at S$296.4 billion as of the first quarter of 2026. This figure accounts for approximately 71% of total household debt, according to data from the Department of Statistics (SingStat) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

The launch of the Home Loans segment is timely, as it comes at a point when the cost of not comparing home loan rates has become more apparent. The three-month compounded Singapore Overnight Rate Average (SORA), which serves as the benchmark for most floating-rate mortgages, stood around 1.19% in mid-September 2026. This has led to bank mortgage packages offering rates well below the HDB concessionary rate of 2.6%, which has remained unchanged since the second quarter of 2026.

For a borrower with S$800,000 outstanding, the difference between the HDB concessionary rate and a more competitive rate of 1.4% amounts to roughly S$454 a month, or about S$5,400 a year. On a S$300,000 HDB loan, the difference is closer to S$170 a month. These figures are driving a refinancing wave, particularly among HDB flat owners whose lock-in periods have expired and are now actively comparing bank packages for the first time.

The launch of the Home Loans category builds on SingSaver's growth in higher-ticket lending, including its personal loans and brokerage categories. The platform now positions itself in one of the largest consumer lending markets in Singapore. As of June 30, 2026, MoneyHero Group had over 280 commercial partner relationships and approximately 3.7 million Monthly Unique Users across its platform.
