LUBBOCK, Texas, Oct. 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Texas-based SIMFLO, a global provider of vertical and submersible turbine pumps, has been selected to supply high-efficiency pump assemblies for a major municipal water infrastructure project in El Salvador. The project, aimed at supporting well construction and scheduled maintenance across the country, will see SIMFLO deliver its equipment to four key geographic regions: the Western (Zona Occidental), Central, Eastern (Zona Oriental), and San Salvador Metropolitan regions.
SIMFLO will supply 1800 RPM vertical turbine pump bowl assemblies, equipped with stainless steel impellers and conical strainers, designed to handle well diameters ranging from 10 to 14 inches. This project is part of SIMFLO's broader strategy to expand its presence in Latin America, including countries such as El Salvador, Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.
Leo Villanueva, Latin America Sales Manager at SIMFLO, emphasized the company's commitment to providing reliable and efficient equipment.
This project is significant for SIMFLO, as it underscores the company's ability to meet the specific needs of municipal water systems in Central America. The company, privately held since 1952, has been at the forefront of pump technology innovation, serving a wide range of sectors including municipal water services, manufacturing, mining, chemicals, hydrocarbons, saltwater extraction, and agriculture.
The project also highlights SIMFLO's commitment to addressing the long-standing challenges of long lead times and limited-service options from legacy suppliers. By working closely with its local distributor and end users, SIMFLO ensures prompt quotes, fast delivery timelines, and on-site technical support, thereby delivering vital municipal water services across various departments in El Salvador.
The project involves the supply of 1800 RPM vertical turbine models to meet well requirements, with SIMFLO's equipment being distributed across all four key geographic regions of El Salvador. This initiative is expected to enhance the water delivery and well infrastructure in multiple cities, contributing to the overall water security and management needs of the region.
