ServingIntel Launches SI MCP to Enhance Operator Insights

ServingIntel, Inc., a technology developer for senior living organizations, has announced the launch of its Model Context Protocol (SI MCP) for operators, enhancing the use of Genesis AI access across operator insights and community services. The initiative aims to make information more accessible through plain-language questions, starting with operator needs and expanding to upcoming resident experiences.
Genesis Reporting tools, which cover dining sales, daily financial performance, resident meal attendance, and meal-plan utilization, are now integrated with SI MCP. Operators can now ask straightforward questions to get the information they need. For example, they can inquire about the number of open maintenance work orders, upcoming salon appointments, or the average daily resident meal attendance over the past 30 days. Operators can also compare dining sales across authorized communities and review daily net sales, payments, and reconciliation totals.
SI MCP is designed to bring Genesis closer to both groups, helping operators understand their communities and preparing residents to engage with menus, reservations, and daily services.
The protocol uses Microsoft Entra ID authentication and existing Genesis authorization to ensure that only authorized users can access the information. Genesis permissions govern which communities and reports a user can retrieve, and Genesis Reporting rechecks access before returning information. Each MCP tool defines the information or action it supports, ensuring that the system remains secure and user-friendly.
ServingIntel is advancing SI MCP across compatible AI assistants, including its work with ChatGPT, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot. Assistant-specific availability and requirements will be communicated separately. Organizations interested in Genesis or SI MCP can learn more at https://servingintel.com/platform/mcp.
