OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 9, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- SecureSky, a leading provider of Exposure Management and AI-based Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, has acquired Soveren, a company known for its Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) capabilities. This acquisition enhances SecureSky's platform by integrating real-time, machine learning (ML)-based sensitive data discovery, classification, and protection across cloud-native and on-premises environments.
Founded in 2021 and based in London, Soveren has developed a unique unified data security platform, earning high ratings from customers. The company's platform combines eBPF-powered network analysis with ML-driven classification, providing continuous visibility into sensitive data flows with 98% accuracy. Soveren's solution stands out by inspecting and classifying encrypted TLS traffic at scale with no impact on application speed, a feature that distinguishes it from legacy DSPM tools, which often struggle with high false positives.
"SecureSky is committed to providing security teams with automated, actionable, real-time data observability and controls validation," stated Peter Fedchenkov, Founder and Co-CEO of Soveren. "Our vision has always been to solve the data observability problem, and we are excited to bring our capabilities to SecureSky's customers."
SecureSky, with over 20 years of cybersecurity expertise, offers a range of services including Security Posture Management (CSPM/SSPM), Managed XDR, Microsoft Sentinel deployment and management, and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). The addition of Soveren's platform will allow SecureSky to deliver unified visibility and protection across clients' hybrid environments.
"SecureSky shares our commitment to providing security teams with automated, actionable, real-time data observability and controls validation," said Michael Hrabik, CEO of SecureSky. "By combining our patented AI-based Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) platform with Soveren's ML-driven DSPM, we can offer a comprehensive solution that addresses the complex challenges of today's hybrid environments."
The acquisition comes at a time when organizations are facing increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. SecureSky's expanded platform aims to provide a robust defense against data breaches and other security risks, ensuring that organizations can maintain a high level of data security in both cloud and on-premises environments.
Soveren's platform, with its 4.9 rating on G2 and 5.0 on Gartner Peer Insights, serves leading organizations such as Booking Holdings' Agoda and OpenTable. By integrating Soveren's technology, SecureSky is well-positioned to address the growing demand for advanced data security solutions in the market.
This acquisition marks a significant step for SecureSky in its mission to protect organizations from evolving cyber threats. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, SecureSky is poised to deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance data security and posture management.
