Rogers Launches Interactive Red Carpet Events During TIFF

Rogers, the telecommunications giant, has announced a vibrant array of events at The Rogers Red Carpet during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Opening Weekend, set to take place from September 10 to 13 in Yorkville, Toronto.
The venue, located on Yorkville Avenue between Bellair Street and Hazelton Avenue, will be transformed into an interactive hub of entertainment and film screenings. On Thursday, September 10, starting at 8 p.m., guests can experience live musical performances by LeWolf & Friends and Kid Koala, followed by a free screening of TIFF Short Cuts Films and the People’s Choice Award-winning film, La La Land.
On Friday, the event kicks off earlier at 11 a.m. with performances by LeWolf & Friends, The Sidewalk Crusaders, Jeremie Albino, and Casa Loma Orchestra. The afternoon and evening will feature a special Q&A with director Niki Lindroth von Bahr following the screening of her film, The End, and a closing film screening of La La Land at 8 p.m.
Saturday, September 12, brings a packed schedule with performances by LeWolf & Friends, The 99s, and Our Lady Peace, who will also perform and host a Q&A on their film, Gail. The afternoon includes a performance by Casa Loma Orchestra with members of the E Street Band and a screening of Between Late April & Early May, followed by a Q&A with director Sophia Smith. The evening wraps up with a selection of TIFF Short Cuts Films and the People’s Choice Award-winning film, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
On Sunday, September 13, the event continues with performances by LeWolf & Friends and Casa Loma Orchestra with members of the E Street Band. The afternoon features an ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) segment with TIFF Q&A with Cameron Bailey and concludes with the People’s Choice Award-winning film, The Princess Bride.
The event is free and open to the public, offering attendees a mix of interactive activities and film screenings amidst the vibrant backdrop of TIFF.
