MIAMI, FL, UNITED STATES, October 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Road2SEMA, a British convoy of custom-built vehicles, has embarked on a 3,500-mile journey across America, marking the start of its charity adventure to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Organized by Ciro Ciampi and Petrolheadonism, the trip aims to raise $25,000 for Make-A-Wish America, building on last year’s $14,000 contribution.
The convoy began its journey in Miami, where it met with Solomon Lunger from Ford Era to prepare and commission the cars after their three-week sea crossing from the UK. The convoy then headed to Ocean Drive for its first Miami cruise, followed by lunch at the iconic 11th Street Diner. The afternoon brought a visit to We Are Curated, the rare-supercar specialist, and the Miami Movie Cars x Petrolheadonism Road2SEMA kick-off party.
Miami did not disappoint, with a diverse array of car enthusiasts and builders turning out. From beautifully finished lowriders to serious off-roaders, hot rods, kustoms, and supercars, the event showcased a wide range of tastes and conversations. Notable among the participants was Brad ‘Backfire Brad’ Eldershaw, who climbed aboard a competition lowrider mini-truck and experienced a thrilling vertical jump, adding a bit of excitement to the trip.
The convoy’s journey is not just about the cars; it’s about bringing people together through shared enthusiasm. The event highlighted the community spirit and the importance of supporting a good cause. Miami set a high bar for the rest of the journey, with its vibrant car culture and welcoming atmosphere.
The convoy is expected to cross America horizontally, but a little vertical travel was included. The trip will take the convoy approximately 3,500 miles across the United States, heading to California before turning towards Las Vegas for the SEMA Show. Alongside the builders, owners, and drivers, a traveling media crew will capture the adventure for a four-part DRIVEN series, social content, and magazine coverage.
The aim is to raise $25,000 for Make-A-Wish America, building on last year’s $14,000 and helping grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. Follow the convoy’s journey, find upcoming events, and access fundraising information at www.road2sema.us and @road2sema on social media.
The convoy’s journey is a testament to the passion and dedication of the car community, as well as their commitment to supporting a worthy cause. As the convoy heads west, it promises to bring joy and support to many children in need.
