Alpharetta, GA, USA, Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- RIB, a leading provider of software solutions for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, has announced the integration of its AI-powered tool, RIB Omni, into RIB SpecLink. This advancement aims to streamline specification workflows, enhancing productivity while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
According to Daimon Bridge, Managing Director & SVP, North America at RIB Software, the new capability addresses a critical challenge faced by specification teams in the AEC sector.
RIB SpecLink + Omni is designed to serve as a single intelligent interface for accessing project information, performing quality reviews, researching products, and managing specification knowledge. Key features include an industry intelligence that understands the structure, relationships, and dependencies across sections of specifications, as well as traceable responses that link answers to specification content and version history. The AI tool also supports specification quality reviews, helping users identify inconsistencies, omissions, and potential conflicts before they become project risks.
The launch of RIB SpecLink + Omni comes as AEC firms face increasing project complexity, heightened contractual risk, and a shrinking pool of experienced specification professionals. As teams seek to improve productivity through AI, RIB emphasizes that the solution delivers measurable efficiency gains without compromising quality, accountability, or professional judgment.
RIB SpecLink + Omni will initially launch in the United States, where it will be available as an add-on for existing SpecLink customers. US customers will receive complimentary access initially, with tiered pricing commencing in January 2027. RIB Software states that the product has been developed with data privacy, security, and responsible AI principles in mind, ensuring that customer project data is not used to train underlying foundation models, and existing access permissions determine what information users can access.
Since its foundation by IT and AEC pioneers in 1961, RIB has expanded its global footprint to incorporate more than 550,000 users and 2,300 talents. The company is committed to transforming the AEC industry through innovative software solutions that manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning and construction to operation and maintenance, dismantlement, and recycling. RIB aims to connect people, processes, and data in innovative ways to ensure its customers complete projects within budget, on time, and to high quality, while reducing their carbon footprints.
