Rho Invoicing Adds Credit and Debit Card Payments Directly on Invoices

Rho Invoicing now allows businesses to accept credit and debit card payments, including Google Pay, directly on their invoices. This new feature, which is rolling out to eligible customers, adds to the existing payment options of ACH and wire transfers.

Starting today, businesses using Rho Invoicing can enable card payments for their clients, streamlining the payment process and providing an additional, convenient payment method. Customers can easily enter their card information directly into the invoice, making a payment in just a few clicks. Card payments come with a processing fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction, which is deducted from the business's invoice amount before depositing into the business's account.

For businesses already using Rho for banking and invoicing, this new feature means no need for a separate merchant account or additional dashboard. Card payments are processed through the same Rho account, making it simple and efficient. The default daily limit for card payments is $10,000 across all invoices, but this can be increased upon request.

Inbound ACH and wire transfers remain free, ensuring no additional costs for these payment methods. The payer will not see any surcharges at checkout, making the payment process smooth and transparent for both parties involved. Rho Invoicing supports USD-denominated invoices and allows up to 100 line items per invoice, complete with per-line sales tax, recurring billing, and payment matching. Invoices can also be fully white-labeled, carrying the business's brand, and virtual account numbers keep the business's actual bank details private.

Rho Invoicing continues to be free for all Rho customers, except for the card processing fees. Integration with QuickBooks Online ensures accurate accounts receivable and accurate AR aging without duplicate entry. Card payments are processed through the same Rho account a business already uses for banking, corporate cards, and bill pay, making the transition seamless.

The feature is currently available for USD-denominated invoices only and is subject to Stripe's verification process and third-party underwriting. Businesses must complete Stripe's verification process to enable card payment functionality, and while access is not guaranteed, Stripe reviews applications on a rolling basis.
