Reeh Al Madinah, a 35-year-old Arabian oud and perfume house based in the United Arab Emirates, has shifted its US fulfillment center to New York. This change, effective immediately, aims to simplify the shopping experience for US customers by offering free shipping on orders over $50, replacing the previous $40 flat rate.

Previously, US customers faced a $40 flat shipping rate with an estimated transit time of 8 to 10 working days. Orders also incurred customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees, which were not disclosed at checkout. These additional costs often deterred customers from making a second purchase, even if they liked the fragrance.

The new domestic fulfillment structure now offers standard delivery at $5.95 with a transit time of three to seven business days, free of charge for orders over $50. Express delivery is available for $15.95 with a transit time of two to four business days. Both services track shipments through UPS and USPS, ensuring transparency for customers.

Farid Chowdhury, Managing Director of Reeh Al Madinah, oversaw the transition.

The company's US catalogue is led by the Nasmah Collection, introduced in Dubai in October 2025 with three eau de parfums: Velmos, Rubesse, and Darven Oud. Five additional eau de parfums were added on 19 July 2026 at a launch event at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre in London, attended by champion boxer Hamza Uddin. The Nasmah Collection includes Café Fire, Citraya Musk, Tobacco Matcha, Spécila, and Winter's Love, all of which are held at the New York facility alongside the company's oud and attar lines.

Reeh Al Madinah continues to operate from the United Arab Emirates with a branch in the United Kingdom serving UK and European customers.

For an order above the $50 threshold, the change removes the shipping charge entirely. For a smaller order, the standard rate falls from $40 to $5.95, a reduction of roughly 85 percent, with the customs exposure removed in both cases.

The transition was led by Farid Chowdhury, Managing Director of Reeh Al Madinah, who oversees the company's global operations and managed the New York fulfillment setup, carrier selection, and the transfer of US stock from the United Kingdom.

The company said the shipping page, checkout rates, and delivery estimates on reehalmadinah.com have been updated to match the new structure. Canada is excluded from the free shipping threshold and continues to be quoted separately at checkout.
