FEDERAL WAY, Wash., Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- PypeServer, a software company founded in 2010, has introduced a significant update to its Cloud+ platform, version 3.0. This new release enables HVAC contractors to manage both pipe and ductwork fabrication from design to installation using a single, integrated platform. The update marks a pivotal moment in the industry, as it brings together the traditionally separate "wet" and "dry" sides of HVAC work under one roof.

Historically, HVAC contractors have operated two distinct fabrication shops: one for piping and another for sheet metal ductwork. These operations often relied on different workflows, software, and machine languages, leading to inefficiencies and miscommunications. With PypeServer's Cloud+ 3.0, contractors can now use the same platform to manage both trades, ensuring better collaboration and efficiency.

DILFO Mechanical, a company already using PypeServer for piping, is now moving its ductwork onto the same platform.

The new release streamlines the entire fabrication process. Starting from the design software contractors already use, PypeServer extracts MAJ files from Revit, AutoCAD Fabrication MEP, and Plant3D. It then injects its own item codes to track fabrication in Cloud+, and imports the files into CAMduct for nesting and cutting. Cloud+ manages revision control, ensuring the shop always works from the latest approved design. For contractors using Mestek Lockformer spiral duct machinery, CAMduct can be bypassed entirely, eliminating manual programming, sketch sheets, and data entry.

Once parts are cut, tracking continues through installation. PypeServer injects its item codes into the MAJ file upstream, allowing the labels CAMduct prints to carry PypeServer’s QR-coded tracking without the need for a new labeling process. Cloud+ follows each duct package through fabrication, staging, shipping, and installation, with status updates from the office, the shop, or the field in a web browser or the iOS and Android apps. On-site crews can scan a label's QR code to see real-time fabrication status, part details, and a 3D Assembly Viewer for placement and assembly checks, eliminating the need to call the shop to find out where material is.

PypeServer will demonstrate Cloud+ 3.0 at the SMACNA Annual Convention, which takes place from October 25 to 28 in Orlando, Florida. The company aims to continue expanding its direct integrations with duct fabrication machinery over time, further enhancing the platform's capabilities.
