ROMEO, Mich., Oct 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- PokeInsider, a Michigan-based news and analysis site for the Pokémon Trading Card Game market, has introduced daily Buy, Hold, and Sell signals for 2,886 cards as of October 29, 2026. This initiative aims to provide collectors with data-driven guidance on their trading decisions, based on each card’s own price history.

According to the release, the signals cover 374 cards rated BUY, 2,431 rated HOLD, and 81 rated SELL. Each card’s signal is recalculated daily, offering real-time insights into the market trends.

The signals are determined by a set of rules that evaluate various factors, including the 30-day trend, the card's performance this week, the 30-day price range, the 90-day trend, the set age, and trading volume. A card’s score is calculated based on these factors, with a score of +2 or more indicating a BUY, -2 or less indicating a SELL, and anything in between suggesting a HOLD.

For instance, the BUY list includes cards like Gengar and Mimikyu GX, Team Up 165, Alternate Full Art, which showed a raw price of $2,186.88 on its PokeInsider card page. This card has seen a steady climb, up 6.0 percent in the last 30 days and 38 percent over 90 days. Similarly, M Rayquaza EX, Roaring Skies 105, Full Art, with a raw price of $567.33, has also shown a 7.5 percent increase in the last 30 days.

On the other hand, the SELL list is dominated by cards from the 30th Celebration releases, whose prices have been easing as more packs are opened. For example, Mew ex, 30th Celebration 152, showed a raw price of $80.11 on its PokeInsider card page, down 43.2 percent in 30 days and still falling that week. Conversely, the Legendary Collection Charizard, card 3, drew a SELL for the opposite reason: a raw price of $899.99 after an 80.0 percent spike in a month, with the run fading that week.

PokeInsider’s founder, Caleb Nichols, emphasizes that the signals are based solely on price data and do not consider factors such as reprints, tournament results, or news.
