HOLLAND, Mich., Oct. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The PKGD Group, a U.S. importer and brand builder of producer-owned agave spirits, reported a 56.4% year-over-year growth in VIP-reported portfolio sales volume for the first nine months of 2026. Reported volume reached 193,035 4.5-liter case equivalents, compared with 123,433 for the same period in 2025. Growth spanned tequila, mezcal, and raicilla.

G4 Tequila saw a significant 54.6% increase, reaching 178,490 4.5-liter case equivalents. Palomo Mezcal experienced a 44% growth, increasing to 10,175 4.5-liter case equivalents. El Viejito Tequila saw an impressive 507% rise, jumping to 2,297 4.5-liter case equivalents. El Acabo Raicilla saw a substantial 377% increase, reaching 972 4.5-liter case equivalents.

Palomo is currently the second-largest brand in the report by volume, while El Viejito and El Acabo are expanding from smaller bases. PKGD is focused on sustaining G4's momentum while building a broader base of growth across tequila, mezcal, and raicilla.

Separately, Nielsen data show G4's measured retail dollar sales rising 53.9% to $33.3 million for the 52 weeks ending October 3, 2026. Dollar sales in the same measured tequila category declined 3.5%. G4 also ranked No. 10 in NIQ Byzzer's composite brand performance ranking for the measured tequila category.

G4's total distribution points increased 42.9%, while dollar sales per distribution point rose 7.7%, showing stronger sales productivity alongside broader distribution. G4's core 80-proof Reposado 750 mL expression generated $14.7 million in measured retail sales, up 97.3%, and ranked No. 21 in NIQ Byzzer's composite item performance ranking for the same category and period.

G4 was named an Impact Hot Prospect, featured in Market Watch's October 2026 issue, and selected as one of three finalists for Rising Drinks Brand of the Year in VinePair's 2026 Next Wave Awards.

Tequila Arriesgado, owned and produced by fourth-generation tequilero Roberto Real, followed an ancestral production philosophy centered on hand-crushed agave, wood-fired cooking, and distillation, and direct producer involvement. Those choices shaped its agave character and texture. Suggested retail prices for Arriesgado were $69.99 for the 48% ABV Blanco and $79.99 for the 47% ABV Reposado, both in 750 mL bottles.

PKGD reports that Arriesgado recorded 744 4.5-liter case equivalents in just three months of commercial rollout through September. The brand has also secured significant Total Wine & More store authorizations across the U.S., adding to its retail expansion.
