Peter Schleidt, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a member of Jyske Bank’s Group Executive Board, will retire at the end of September 2026. Schleidt joined Jyske Bank’s Group Executive Board in 2017. Prior to this, he held the roles of Group Executive Director and COO at TDC, and Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Danske Bank. Additionally, Schleidt served on Jyske Bank’s Supervisory Board from 2016 to 2017.
The Supervisory Board expressed gratitude for Schleidt’s significant and valuable contributions to both operations and digitalization at Jyske Bank over the past decade. During his tenure, Schleidt played a crucial role in developing digital solutions that benefited both Jyske Bank’s customers and employees.
Effective October 1, 2026, Klaus Naur will take over as COO and a new member of the Group Executive Board, focusing on Digitalisation and Operations. Naur brings over 25 years of experience with Jyske Bank, including roles in Corporate Customers, credits, leasing, and as Director of Personal Customers. Most recently, he served as Head of Digitalisation and Operations, a role where he worked closely with and reported to Schleidt. Naur will have day-to-day management responsibility for several units within the division.
Kurt Bligaard Pedersen, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, highlighted Naur’s strong execution capabilities and deep understanding of operations, development, and customer needs. Pedersen emphasized Naur’s key role in ensuring the continued strength of Jyske Bank’s technology and administrative platform, as well as translating technological opportunities into tangible benefits for customers.
"Klaus Naur is well-equipped to lead the division with his extensive experience and strong leadership skills," said Pedersen. "His appointment ensures a smooth transition and continuity in our strategic goals."
Schleidt's departure marks a significant change in Jyske Bank’s leadership, but the bank remains confident in its ability to maintain its technological and operational strength under Naur's stewardship.
