NAPERVILLE, Ill., Sept. 3, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- One Health Partners, a nonprofit specialty practice management organization, has unveiled a new brand identity, offering a unique alternative to specialty physicians facing the traditional choices of selling to private equity or joining a larger health system. This move aims to provide a more patient-focused and physician-friendly path.
According to One Health Partners, the new brand identity is part of a broader strategy to offer specialty practices the benefits of a larger organization without the pressures of a future sale. "Physicians shouldn't have to choose between fantastic infrastructure for clinical delivery and independent clinical decision-making," said Ali Karim, General Manager of One Health Partners. "We built a different model because the existing choices weren't built around patients or physicians; they were built around the owners."
The new identity more closely aligns One Health Partners with its parent organization, One Health, a national nonprofit healthcare organization operating in 35 states. As a nonprofit, One Health Partners has no shareholders and no private equity exit strategy, ensuring that any surplus revenue is reinvested into patient care and the organization's mission of strengthening communities.
One Health Partners supports specialty practices in various ways, including developing multispecialty centers of excellence, providing clinical decision support systems, managing operations, and enhancing patient engagement. The organization focuses on specialties addressing complex disease management, such as rheumatology, dermatology, ophthalmology, neurology, and infectious disease.
The new approach is designed to strengthen what is already working within a practice while managing the operational complexity that can make independent practice increasingly difficult. Physicians who have partnered with One Health Partners have found this distinction appealing. "One Health Partners stood out as different from the beginning. Their vision, transparency, and approach made us feel comfortable right away," said Dr. Kamran Chaudhary and Dr. Cory Conniff of Greater Chicago Specialty Physicians. "They were committed to supporting what already worked, not replacing it. Partnering with One Health Partners allows us to stay focused on medicine while having the right backing to support the future of our practice."
Karim emphasized that the organization's role is to make it easier for physicians to practice medicine, not to own it. "Our job is not to own medicine," he said. "It's to make it easier for physicians to practice it."
One Health Partners is a nonprofit specialty practice management organization built by operators, not investors. It delivers enterprise-level operational capabilities while preserving physician independence and medical decision-making. The organization acquires and manages specialty physician practices, absorbing the operational weight of healthcare so physicians can focus on the medicine they trained for and the patients they serve.
One Health Partners' mission is to support and strengthen the practices of specialty physicians, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to focus on delivering the best patient care possible.
